Cheyanne Masterson
Hello! I am a full-time softball instructor based in the Sioux Falls area. I coach SD High School Softball as an Assistant Coach for West Central High School. I also coach for TSC Thunder, a travel summer team.

Sioux Falls Steel

Sioux Falls Steel was a competitive travel ball team based out of Sioux Falls. During her tenure with SF Steel, Cheyanne won State A Championships at all age levels. Notable tournament wins include 2018 Ringneck Champions (16u), 2019 Ringneck Champions (18u), and 2019 USA Northern Nationals Champions (18u)
West Central High School
​
Cheyanne competed for West Central High School for five years at the varsity level (2015-2019). During that time, the team won 4-straight State A Championships (2016-2019). Cheyanne also received First Team All-State all five years along with several All-Tournament Team Honors. As a utility, Cheyanne played several position including shortstop, third base, and pitcher.
Cheyanne attended South Dakota State University from 2020-2024. She played third and first base for the Jackrabbits. During that time, SDSU won four-straight Regular Season Summit League Titles. She competed in two NCAA tournaments during the 2021 Arkansas Regional and the 2022 University of Central Florida Regional.

SDSU had two wins against Top 25 teams during this time including wins against No. 20 Baylor (2023) and No. 16 Arkansas (2024).

Cheyanne graduated with a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Science in May of 2024.

Career Statistics:
Appeared in 179 games over four years and hit 19 career home runs. Cheyanne recorded a .959 career fielding percentage playing third and first base.
